The seemingly never-ending final tasks of editing, proofreading and designing the Sport and Recreation Alliance’s Red Card to Red Tape – How sports clubs want to break free from bureaucracy, a report into the regulatory burden on sport and recreation clubs, has been completed and the report is now in the hands of the printers.
The report is being launched two weeks today, on 22 March, with a reception in Parliament where the Sport and Recreation Alliance will be joined by former England rugby union international Brian Moore, Hugh Robertson MP, the Minister for Sport, and our Chair Brigid Simmonds OBE.
Aside from the speeches the event will include the odd activity, such as the one pictured above.
This Black History Month, the Sport and Recreation Alliance sought to celebrate the significant contributions Black individuals have made and continue to make to grassroots sport and recreation by engaging with leaders throughout the sports sector.
