This Girl Can is a new national campaign from Sport England focused on encouraging more women and girls to get active regularly.
Based on insight into women’s sporting attitudes and experiences, it uses humour and a sassy attitude to tackle the fear of judgement that prevents many women taking part in sport and activity.
Launched at the Transforming Sport conference in October, This Girl Can moves up a gear in January with a heavyweight integrated national advertising campaign featuring TV, cinema and posters as well as digital and social media. And you can join the campaign too.
Sport England wants anyone who shares its aspirations and values to use the This Girl Can brand, photography and assets to inspire more women wiggle, jiggle, move and prove that judgement is a barrier that can be overcome. A toolkit containing all the material and guidelines will shortly be available. Fill in this form to register your interest.
