Following the announcement of the 2014 Queen's Birthday Honours list, the Sport and Recreation Alliance has compiled a list of all our members and others within the wider sport and recreation sector who have been honoured.
We at the Alliance would like to congratulate and thank all those honoured for their fantastic service to the sector – and the sheer number of those on the list is testament to the great work that has been performed over the past year right across the sector.

Here at the Alliance we were also particularly pleased to note that Jack Greenwood was awarded the BEM for voluntary service to cricket in West Yorkshire.
Jack was one of the recipients of this year's Torch Trophy Trust Awards for his decades of voluntary service to Denholme Cricket Club.
This Black History Month, the Sport and Recreation Alliance sought to celebrate the significant contributions Black individuals have made and continue to make to grassroots sport and recreation by engaging with leaders throughout the sports sector.
