The Sport and Recreation Alliance, the umbrella body and trade association for the governing and representative bodies of sport and recreation, is looking to recruit a new Head of Policy to lead the organisation’s advocacy, campaigning and influencing work.
A key part of the Alliance’s role is to safeguard the sport and recreation sector from potentially adverse and unnecessary changes in legislation. The Head of Policy will monitor relevant political and regulatory developments and formulate appropriate policies and strategies to help the Alliance protect and promote the interests of its members and other key partners.
So if you can combine an in-depth knowledge of policy work with a passion for sport and recreation, as well as display a drive to help maintain the Alliance’s standing as the authoritative independent voice for the sector – we’d like to hear from you.
This Black History Month, the Sport and Recreation Alliance sought to celebrate the significant contributions Black individuals have made and continue to make to grassroots sport and recreation by engaging with leaders throughout the sports sector.
