The Department for Culture, Media & and Sport (DCMS) Sport Committee is launching a new inquiry into the barriers facing women in sport.
It was hoped that one legacy from the record-breaking performance of Team GB's female athletes in the Olympics last year would be a greater prominence for women's sport and the encouragement of more girls and women to participate in sport.
However the new inquiry requires written evidence on a number of issues including:
Written submissions should be sent online via the Women in Sport portal on the DCMS Sport Committee website. Submissions will be taken from 1 August until 19 September.
