The British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) has launched a campaign against WHSmith’s decision to stop selling shooting magazines to under-14s.
BASC argues that this new store policy – recently highlighted in an article by the Telegraph – not only discriminates against children and legitimate shooting sports, but also offends adults who are stopped at self-service tills.
BASC is leading the call for this policy to be reversed and an overview of the issue and ways to show your support are outlined on the BASC website.
