Every two years the Alliance carries out research into the health of our community sports clubs to understand facility usage, changes in membership levels, club finances and upcoming challenges and opportunities. These findings then feed into our policy priorities and provide much needed evidence for our work.

Eight four percent of clubs don’t see the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games as an opportunity.

This research was commissioned by the Sport and Recreation Alliance and conducted independently by Sportswise. 1,942 responses were received from over 40 sports. The data was weighted to be representative of the total sports club universe.
